Why I stopped planning my mornings
Two years of the same list on the fridge, and the one question that replaced it.
The plan was the problem
For two years I had the same list on the fridge. Coffee, stretch, thirty minutes of writing, then email. I followed it maybe one day in five, and the other four days started with a small failure.
The morning was not the thing I needed to fix. The list was.
What I do now
I keep one question instead: what is the one thing that, if it happens today, makes the day fine? Most days the answer takes ten seconds.
